Our commitments
Clear terms.
Independent judgement.
Every engagement begins with a defined scope, compensation status, rights and responsibilities. An expression of interest is the start of a conversation; confirmed appointments and commissioned work follow written terms.
Editorial decisions remain with WTM's authorised editorial leadership. Commercial relationships are disclosed where appropriate, and contributors identify material conflicts and sources.
Tell us about any access requirements for the application conversation. Initial submissions are assessed on relevant work and perspective; author photographs are requested only for accepted contributor profiles.
Unpaid educational placements and regional appointments are proposed pathways. Their eligibility, responsibilities and lawful terms are reviewed before work begins.
